If you are running on linux, and have root access, you can cheat and
put the lib dir in the /etc/ld.so.conf (remember to rerun ldconfig) and
if it is your LD_LIBRARY_PATH being overridden somewhere that should 
fix it.  An analogous thing on solaris is to just stick the lib
in /usr/lib..

I was getting that same error awhile back when either it could not
find the jni class file or it couldn't find the dynamic lib, but
I can't remember which case it was, so double and triple check the 
classpath (jserv & zone) as well.
