This probably won't help, but maybe will reassure.  I used Java Web Server
1.1.1 last year to do a project with JHTML pages accessing a database.  I
occasionally encountered the same error in Netscape.  Overall I found IE to
be a far more robust browser for this kind of web application.

                I just ran into a strange event.  In testing a 
                servlet, a user was running IE *and* Netscape and
                connecting to the servlet.  The servlet searches
                a database and displays a list of search hits in
                a frame.  When the user clicks on a link, the 
                servlet retrieves information from the database and
                constructs a page that is displayed in another frame.

                After running different searches in the two browsers,
                two different lists of hits were displayed.  The strangeness
                arises when one starts clicking madly on the links.  
                Occassionally, Netscape displays a "document contains no
data"
                alert, and the document is displayed *in the IE browser*!

                What gives?
