I am using Apache 1.3, Jserv 1.0b4, jdk 1.1.7 and Linux 5.2 on a Dell
2300. This machine connects to an Oracle 8 database. We have been having
intermittent crashes on the Dell. Every week or so, it will just stop
responding. When you go to the screen, it's just blank. We are forced to
reboot the machine. We have been focusing on hardware as the cause, but
I wanted to make sure no one had see such events with Apache and Jserv.
Is it even possible for Jserv or java to have this effect? If anyone has
any other experience or insight into this, it would be much appreciated.
