Yes, but no answers here either...

We are having the same kind of problem. Our Platform:
OS: Red Hat 5.2 (Linux 2.0.36)
                Web: Apache 1.3.6
                Servlet: Apache JServ 1.0b3
                JVM: Linux_JDK_1.2_pre-release-v1, native threads,
sunwjit,
                         "Classic VM" (no Hotspot)

We start at about 55MB total memory usage, and grow at about 4-8MB daily.
For us the most telling aspect of the problem is that even when we restart
Apache, the total memory usage remains roughly the same as before. However,
if we reboot *Linux* we start off again at 55MB and begin to grow from
there.

What could cause this sort of memory leak profile? A leak in the Linux
kernel that JServ punches particularly heavily? "Shared Memory" that is not
reclaimed between stopping and starting Apache and/or JServ? Memory in
"Shared Objects" that has not been reclaimed? (although the latter seems
unlikely (if not impossible) to me)

I don't have any answers, but I have been fighting a memory
leak with a standard red hat 6.0 install, the latest 1.1.x jvm
from blackdown, apache 1.3.9 and JServ 1.0. I have reviewed
my application over and over without success.

Are others experiencing leaks with 1.0?
