Note Red Hat 6 was installed and thus Oracle8 had to be patched to work with glibc2.1. When my servlets initialize they setup an oci8 jdbc connection to the Oracle Database. The oci connection uses native methods on the server. Anyways, I get a make_c_state errror and the Connection can't be made. any help appreciated in this regard.
