We cannot guess what you are trying to do:
#1. Include version numbers for all software.
#2. Include relevant configuration settings.
#3. Include full descriptions of the problem.

Hi:
I changed
DirectoryIndex index.html to
DirectoryIndex tryMe
in httpd.conf file of Apache webserver
to show tryMe as the default starting page
where tryMe is a java class file tryMe.class;
It doesnot work; do I need to do any other changes so that when anybody
types www.compname.com then by default it should invoke tryMe.class
