I have considered trying something like this also, though I do not know if I
will ever have time to go for it.  One place I found as a start was Pegwit
which has a Java conversion.  From what I remember the encryption/decr...
code falls in the public domain.  There is some applet code that falls under
GNU license.  I did not look into it much further.  Have not seen any
Javascript.  If you do decide to write something (and plan to make code
public), let me know so I do not waste my time.  I thought it might be a
nice exercise that would allow me to improve my knowledge of Javascript and
encryption, but since my knowledge in both areas is limited, it might take
me quite some time to complete.
