Hi
I tried to build using the daily Apache-JServ-19991207.tar.gz file
As documented in README.build, I did the following:
aclocal
autoconf
automake
No errors or output from these, as expected.
Although there is a Makefile.am, Makefile.in and Makefile.win32, there is no
Makefile in the directory so the make and make install fail instantly
("There must be an existing description file or specify a target.")
I am using the following tools:
GNU automake 1.4
GNU libtool 1.3.3
GNU m4 1.4
GNU autoconf 2.13
GNU automake 1.4
Perhaps I am using the tools incorrectly. Any further suggestions that can
get me to the point where I can build and work with a valid libjserv.so on
AIX 4.3.3 would be appreciated.
Thanks
Stan
