Enough's enough.

How long have you guys been on the net?   It's amazing to me that 
anyone can remain on mailing lists or newsgroups and still be "offended" 
by words.  It's even more amazing that someone referring to someone 
else as a nazi in this context could offend anyone.  

I'm pretty sure anyone with a modicum of common sense knows that 
he wasn't implying that Jon was stoking ovens.  The word nazi has 
become little more than a synonym for draconian and we all know this.

Why some of you are choosing to ignore this and blow this out of 
context is beyond me.  I like Jon too, but I don't feel the need to 
ostracize someone for making, at worst, an obtuse comment.  He
left because he wanted to and far worse things have been said on 
this mailing list that have gone unnoticed because no one quit the
group as a result. Let's not be hypocrites.

I'm also quite surprised that Jon used that as a reason to leave the
mailing list - it seems quite out of character to say the least.
