I read the whole FAQ, and i still can't run JServ.
I'm running a Mandrake 7.0, with apache 1.3.9 and Blackdown JDK1.2.2 rc4. I use
JServ 1.1 rpm found on Jserv website. Herse's my problems:
Lauching is OK, but not ending : i always have a message like this :
(EMERGENCY) wrapper: JServ (6220) didn't die nicely, killing it
I can't launch jserv-status, i'm always getting a 'not allowed error', even
when using <Location /jserv/> SetHandler jserv-status
order allow,deny
allow from all
</Location>
I can't run any servlet, each accs to the servlet URL causes a 'No result
error' for Netscape, a 'segmentation fault' for error.log, a
'java.io.IOException' in jserv.log.
I tried all this :
use Sun JDSK instead of the one included in the package
preloading servlet with servlets.startup : message OK in jserv.log, but no
further enhancement
checked ServerName in httpd.conf = DefaultHostName in jserv.conf (localhost)
added wrapper.classpath for jdk1.2.2/lib/rt.jar
tried java.policy file in jdk1.2.2/jre/lib directory
So, where is the problem ?
Thanks for your help
