We have a problem with lingering JVM threads, if that's what you are seeing.
The behavior was worse before we upgraded to the latest Sun JVM (this
is on a Solaris box). However, I still see threads hanging around
for quite some time.
What is really odd (to me) is that we set the thread's name and the
lingering threads are un-named.
