Thank you very much for your help.
I'm not too familiar with mod_rewrite (although i read through the big
manual), so i try your second advise first.

When i use

http://localhost:80/servlet/sfs?i=954079758374

It searches my static files in
"http://localhost:80/servlet/images/test.gif"

The files are there but Apache serves 404 Not found.
It seems to me that he maps this to the servlet zone.
The error log says "ClassNotFoundException images".

An ideas ?
