Problem solved, it works like a charm.

The solution did appear in the faq afterall, http://locus.apache.org/jyve-
faq/Turbine/screen/DisplayQuestionAnswer/action/SetAll/project_id/1/faq_id/1/top
ic_id/27/question_id/123


I added the following line to the jserv.properties

wrapper.env=windir=C:\WINDOWS
