Hey All,

I'm the admin for this list.

I know that it is really tempting to send questions about how to read files
on linux, whether to use JSP or now and how to send email via a servlet, but
that really doesn't have anything to do with the charter of this list, which
is to support Apache JServ as a product, not to teach you how to use
servlets or how to write Java.

Thus, your offtopic messages really tend to degrade the community that we
have built around Apache JServ and abusing it isn't appreciated.

If you have offtopic questions, please feel free to send them to me and I
will be happy to point you in the right direction. My email address is at
the bottom of every single message sent to this list. [EMAIL PROTECTED]

One direction that I will tell you go to is the
[EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list. Please subscribe there and post
your questions about servlets. If you have general questions about Java, go
to java.sun.com and look for a mailing list there.

This is a service that Clear Ink/Working-Dogs.com provides to the community.
Please don't abuse it.

thanks,

-jon stevens
