I installed Suse 6.4 several times (with its precompiled jserv) and it always works
perfectly on the first shot. Since you have JDK 1.2..2 already, try this:
- put all your jars into the jdk2 extension dir (/usr/local/jdk1.2.2/jre/lib/ext in
your case)
- try to run /usr/local/jdk1.2.2/bin/java org.apache.jserv.JServ and see if there are
errors
May be make sure the suse java 1.1.7 links are dead (rm /usr/liib/java)
I usually find lots of hints in the http error files, either /var/log/http.errors (or
so), /etc/httpd/jserv/*
BTW, the EAPI Message is a different story, read back in the mailing list. Or just
ignore it.
