Hi,

I am concerned about the long list of java processes that my system
shows when I type ps -e (I am using linux) I read the faq in which said
that these are threads and not seperate jvms. Neverless it seems as
long I use Jserv further threads are created and none are being
destroyed. In fact at the end of two days (where I was writing and
testing my servlet lots of initalization of the same servlet) I had
about 170 java processes(threads). Should I be concerned? What is
going on, and if this is abnormal what is mostly likely the problem?

thank you,

George Hart
