Yes, I've noticed that in Solaris7 that although the JServ and Java process
stays at about 20Mb, RAM does seem to disappear until I reboot
and I get it back.

Have you applied all the latest patch clusters to your box from sunsolve1.sun.com?

Can you change to the Java2 environment?
