This might mean several things...
- you've modified your servlet code, recompiled, and JServ is not reloading
your class
- subsequent requests do not create a new instance of your class
- the browser decides that it doesn't need to call the web server so your
servlet isn't being executed
- the browser is calling the web server but your doGet isn't being executed

You need to add cache control directives both to your generated html and in
the http response. Read a good servlet book.
>Even restarting apache does not reload the classes
If it's a browser caching issue on the client side it wouldn't, now would
it.

If you're serious about using JServ you should re-think that.

Hello,
I am having a show-stopper problem with Jserv in that it NEVER reloads my
servlet classes. Even deleting the servlet altogether does not keep the
browser from seeing the servlet in the cache. I have no proxy server, and
my
zone properties are set to auto reload. Even restarting apache does not
reload
the classes. I'm at my wit's end with this one, and will have to move on to
another server, such as Jrun, if there is no solution. I've psoted to
multiple
newsgroups and checked the FAQ, with no luck. If there is any insight into
this problem, please e-mail me directly, as I do not subscribe to the
mailing
list.
Thanks in advance,
Chris Fonnesbeck
