If you can access http://127.0.0.1/jserv/ then you're ok.
Again, the 8007 is not a port for the web browser to access from.
This port is only used between Apache & JServ - INTERNAL only!
You may change this port to some other port but you must update config
files of JServ (normally required if your system is coincidently using
port 8007 for other apps).

If you're curious, here's the way to check if anything is listening
on port 8007:

netstat -n | grep 8007

Subject: JServ doesn't listen on port 80

I've seen this question asked a couple of times before, but I haven't
seen an answer yet, so if someone could please point me in the right
direction, the help would be much appreciated.

I'm running ApacheJServ/1.1.2 with Apache/1.3.12 on Red Hat 6.2, and
it looks like the C portion of JServ isn't listening on port 8007.
Is there anything special I need to do to make it do this? I can
reach http://127.0.0.1/jserv/ just fine, but I can't connect to
127.0.0.1:8007.

Below are my configuration files, stripped of comments.
I will happily provide any other requested config info.

Thanks In Advance,
