I recently installed the following:
1.3.12 and JServ 1.1.2 on NT4 with JDK 1.1.8
All seems to run fine and the CPU is about 3-5%
Very low - then at random times it will jump
to 50% and I find that java.exe is what is
using it.
I see no real correlation in any of the error logs
to these CPU jump events. The server still running fine
but I have had Apache JServ lose it's connection to
Apache a couple times (usually after a couple hours at 50%).
I have even had it run at 50% for 2 days and have had no problems.
Anyone seen this before?
What kind of tools could I use to diagnose the problem?
The performance monitor does not help much in this case.
