Hi Sid,
In the httpd.conf file which is in the /conf directory of apache1.3.12
you need to set:
ServerName localhost
in order for apache to understand your ServerName.

I just installed Apache 1.3.12 on my new build on Windows 2000 server.
When I try to start Apache, I get the following error:
>apache: cannot determine local host name.
>Use the ServerName directive to set it manually
I've never run into this on previous installs, anyone know what I missed?
