Hey Pal

Look in your httpd.conf, there will be an entry:

User wwwrun  (or "nobody" or some other user)

Just make sure this user has write permissions to the directory you need
to write to.   Also to be sure, use absolute paths... ie
"/home/fred/myfile.txt" instead of  just "myfile.txt" in your code.
