Don't make us guess your problem!!! ---------------------------------------------------------------- Config ====== Apache: 1.3.12 JServ: 1.1.2-2 JDK: 1.2.2 OS: Win 2000 Server I'm having a weird problem starting JServ on Windows 2000. If I start Apache as a service, then JServ comes up fine. If I start Apache from the programs menu (while logged in as administrator) then JServ fails to start, and writes the following messages to logs\jserv.log [02/10/2000 19:55:53:583 PDT] ApacheJServ/1.1.2 is starting... [02/10/2000 19:55:53:603 PDT] Connection authentication is disabled [02/10/2000 19:55:53:613 PDT] Connection allowed from 127.0.0.1/127.0.0.1 [02/10/2000 19:55:53:613 PDT] Listening on port 8007 accepting 50 maximum connections [02/10/2000 19:55:53:613 PDT] ApacheJServ/1.1.2: Exception creating the server socket: java.net.SocketException: create (code=10106) If I subsequently start JServ from the command line, it starts-up quite happily. Any help on this would be much appreciated.
