I have an application where I set up a session variable holding a class
that contains a table of contents. The class is build from a number of
database queries. Once loaded the site works well. However, the initial
session definition is slow. Since the class contents only occasional
changes, is there a way to initialize the table of contents class from a
site wide persistent object? I have seen this done but don't know it is
done.
