Welcome!
Tomcat is the next generation stuff implementing the latest JSDK. Apache
JServ only implements 2.0 of the JSDK. Tomcat is the future.
p.s. This is the wrong list for this discussion. You should have subscribed
to the Java Apache Users mailing list or the General Tomcat lists. This list
