I guess you are using the wrong kind of oracle JDBC driver. try using the
thin driver, or else you will need to have installed SQL*Net on your server.
Using the thing driver is a little bit slower, but it works everywhere you
supply classes111.zip file from Oracle, and you don't need to have any other
Oracle software on the server.
