I hope this is the right list for this. We have noticed a potentially huge problem with IE5.5. We are running Apache 1.3.12,Apache 1.3.12+ssl 1.39 and JServ 1.1.1 on RedHat 6.2. When a windows machine running IE5.5 try's to access a servlet we get error messages... "Premature end of script headers: /servlet/servlet_name" After this happens no servlets at ALL can be accessed. The JServ hangs. We have to do a graceful restart to allow access again. Static html pages can still be accessed though. I don't know if this is a known issue or bad coding on our part. We don't see this problem with any other IE version or any other browser. We have now tested it on several machines running 5.5 with consistent results. If more information is needed from me I would be happy to provide what I can.
