I have a new requirement for a .NET/J2EE Developer in the New York metro area It is projected to last 6 months with the potential for extension. - Pricing Data Automation and Rationalization - Pricing Master Central. - Design, deploy and integrate a centralized multi vendor financial instrument pricing and valuation platform that meets the needs and requirements of Client business lines. Finalize the PMC Architecture - Provide Technology stack selection of each module on Data acquisition, Entitlements, Portfolio Maintenance, Rules Engine, GUI and Data Distribution. -Build core infrastructure to provide suite of extendible pricing services. The pricing services will provide EOD, SOD, Intraday, Real-time and historical prices for all widely used financial instruments. Required Skills: - *.Net Framework, Win Forms, WPF, Infragistics * - Familiarity with *EAI tools (AbInitio, Informatica) * - *J2EE, Tibco* EMS, C# (Optional), *Web Services, JMS, Good SQL*skills - Product/Pricing knowledge *(Equities/Fixed Income/Derivatives*) - Application deliverable Management skills - Experience developing or maintaining proprietary data loader technology - Knowledge of industry data sources including IDC, Reuters and Bloomberg data products is highly preferred - *Experience with Time Series Database Technology (FAME) is required*, including designing databases and *using the FAME 4GL query language*.
