Peoplesoft Applications Test Lead
Location: Sidney, NE Length: 3 months Start: ASAP Interview :phone Rate: Open + expenses Test Management experience. Should be familiar with testing processes across all test phases (unit, integration, data conversion, system, performance, UAT). Should be capable of managing each test process (progress in script creation, execution, defect repair and retesting, regression testing, etc). Will be required to closely monitor test progress and report the results to senior management, deal with environment issues and code migration impacts, data problems, security impacts, etc. Willingness to take responsibility and ownership for the successful completion of the entire test process. The test lead needs to accept responsibility for issues (delays, environment problems, etc) during testing and drive the process to a successful conclusion. Leadership and managerial skills. The ability to drive results within a diverse team (client business and MIS resources, Oracle onsite and offshore consultants, 3rd Party Consultants) and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities and coordinate the tasks of others. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong problem solving skills. The ability to identify and respond to issues and manage them to their conclusion. Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills. The test lead will need to build and leverage relationships across all project organizations (MIS, Consultants, Business team) to negotiate resolution of issues that arise during testing.
