Position : Senior Ab Initio Developer Location: New York City/Jersey City
Duration: 6 Months Rate: Open General Responsibilities: Developer who can develop continuous flows and also develop graphs for batch processing. Develop shell scripts for multiple purposes: automation of environment setup, wrapper scripts for process and batch execution, etc. Develop and maintain reports Responsible for the design, development and testing of Ab Initio graphs Analyze functional requirements and convert them to technical requirements and design Create technical detail design documents and conduct code reviews with different groups Interface with multiple groups and document results Responsible for the design of system integration test plans. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related area of study 5+ years of dedicated Ab Initio development experience in a large data warehouse environment Technical background in databases, data modeling and other ETL tools. Expert knowledge of ANSI SQL. Hands on expertise across multiple technologies. Must have EXCELLENT UNIX and Shell scripting experience Excellent analysis and problem solving skills Must work well in a collaborative, team environment and independently Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Data Warehouse design and development methodologies knowledge and experiences with DB2 environment.
