Do you have any good (mid level) Business Objects Consultants? 3-4 month contract in Evansville, IN -need good comm skills This resource will be developing the BO reporting for the Data Warehouses that they are building. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE: - Experience with *Business Objects XI Universe Design and Development* is required. - Experience with BO WebI reporting tool is required as well as experience developing complex reports that span universes in different environments (i.e. *DB2 and Oracle*) - Understanding of master data and data warehousing concepts and global vs. local/regional data marts - Awareness and understanding *of InfoSphere ETL and/or WebSphere integration* technology is helpful. - Understanding/experience with *BO reporting related to SAP implementations* is preferred - Understanding/experience with direct and indirect sales reporting concepts is preferred - Understanding of OLAP/Business Intelligence concepts is preferred - Experience working with *FDA-regulated or validated* systems is helpful SCOPE: - Serve as the Data Warehouse Business Objects Universe and Report Designer and Developer RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: - Develop a solid understanding of the DW requirements and the corresponding Legacy projects to successfully perform in the role of the BO Designer and Developer. - Collaborate with project manager to ensure the DW project plan includes the necessary level of detail to insure successful delivery of required reports. - Work with Project Manager to provide input and expertise as the various SDLC required documents are created. - Work with the *SAP BI team as needed to ensure full reporting coverage against both SAP direct sales as well as non-SAP indirect sales*. The two data sources will be highly integrated. - Work with Project Manager to develop and execute a plan for testing of the DW reporting environment prior to release for Production. - Assist IT and business Subject Matter Experts in the planning and development of complex reporting requirements. - Engage with Project Manager to resolve issues, determine schedule, ensure appropriate documentation is developed, track work items, and manage project dependencies.
