I just had this Informatica Developer position open in Horsham, PA. The rate is 50/hr and it will initially begin as a 4 month contract.
Our client is looking for an Informatica Consultant to join their team to assist with multiple projects. The chosen candidate must have at least 5 years of experience with Informatica as this will be a minimum of 50% of their responsibilities. In addition, candidates need to have experience with Oracle PL/SQL development, Unix scripting and XML. Additional Experience/Responsibilities: - 5 years of in-depth knowledge of and experience with the *Informatica PowerCenter, Power Exchange, Data Profiling option as a designer & developer.* - 3-5 years’ experience in *data warehousing.* - High proficiency in understanding relational and dimensional data models. Familiarity with data modeling and associated tools. - Experience with *Oracle 10/11g or other RDBMS*. - Expert knowledge of structured query language (Oracle SQL) and PL/SQL including the use of SQL editors, stored procedures, database triggers and optimizing SQL statements. - Proficient with *AIX operating system and UNIX scripting*. - Deductive logic, complex problem solving and excellent trouble shooting skills. - Experience with *COGNOS BI/ ReportNet, Powerplay development is a plus.* - Experience with *Informatica Web services / message queue option preferred*. - Experience with Mainframe VSAM files is a plus. - Experience with XML and ACORD is a plus. - Prefer working knowledge of the life insurance or financial services industry. - Bachelors or Master’s degree in a related field.
