*Data Analyst*
* Location: Knoxville-TN*
* Duration: 3+months*
*Job Description: *
Under moderate supervision, assists with: Daily oversight of large data
file acquisition and processing; Data Quality assessment;
Post processing error detection and support; Test scripting and
automation.
Assists in test planning, scheduling and implementation. Creates
prototypes.
Codes, tests, debugs, documents and implements moderately complex
software.
* Position Requirements: *
This list of duties is not exhaustive, and may be added, deleted or changed
at any time, without notice.
1. Performs manual, daily oversight and management of large data file
acquisition and processing.
2. Performs post processing error detection and support.
3. Develops and executes Data Quality assessment processes.
4. Works with other engineers in developing scripts and/or application
modules to automate data acquisition, process monitoring, error detection
and data quality assessment.
5. Develops technical specifications and documentation for all test scripts
and/or applications.
5. Performs application testing of all components.
6. Works independently and as a member of a team.
7. Perform other duties as needed and as directed by supervisor.
*Equipment:*
UNIX servers and PC’s running Windows operating systems.
* Skills/Abilities: *
Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals within a
team environment.
Utilizes creativity and excellent problem solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple
tasks.
Must possess proven and effective verbal and written communication skills.
