monthsPOSITION OVERVIEW:Specific Experience Required*•Minimum of 2 years
experience in a lead or mentorship role
•Superior knowledge of BI quality methodologies and techniques
•Minimum of 2 years experience BI testing techniques, methodologies, and
tools
•Extensive experience in the development and implementation of testing
strategies, Quality Assurance frameworks
•Health care industry experience preferred
•Bachelor's degree in computer science, programming or related field
•Agile experience-participated in 1+ projects using agile development
methodology
Desired Key Actions to Successfully Achieve Key Role Accountabilities
*Key Accountability:*Develop quality assurance standards and technical
framework
•Conduct resource capacity and project planning (time tracking, resource
allocations, project assignments)
•Development, monitoring and reporting of departmental goals and metrics
•Technical SME for QA Team for environment, process, documents, and strategy
•Monitor and implement (as appropriate) industry standards for testing in
the BI domain or application development domain
•Comply with the standards and methodologies in Medica’s development life
cycle.
Develop, publish and implement test plans
•Create test strategies from project documents for Agile or Waterfall
projects.
•Participate in walk-throughs, project meetings, reviews and demonstrations
or scrums.
•Review and appropriately disseminate test processes to development,
project management and business resources.
•Establish and maintain test environment, test data and test tools/scripts.
•Execute test plans for IT projects and initiatives verifying that results
meet business needs
*Define and track Software Quality Assurance metrics*
•Document, evaluate and track testing results
•Collaborate with development resources regarding testing results and
desired outcomes
•Communicate and interact with appropriate IT and business areas on
problems, changes and enhancements that may impact data, workflow and/or
functionality
Coordinate end user training and testing
•Coordinate end user testing and testing results providing appropriate user
support and documentation
Present functionality and features of IT solution to business users
Lead Team Members and Contractors
•Lead other team members/contractors on one to many projects. Ensure
other’s contributions are delivered on time, with quality and that they
meet exceptional levels of performance in all aspects of a project
environment. Report progress to QA Manager weekly.
