Location: Vernon Hills, IL Duration : 6+ Months Rate: $63/hr *Description*: Required skills:MS Project,Excel,Word Requirements:1- IT PM should have biotech Pharma experience. Thus, validation is important and should be in scope of their experience 2- IT PM should have experience managing project and initiatives, i.e. actual project management is a must in previous experience and not only on paper in resumes. The latter becomes very apparent in interviews-actual experience vs statements in resumes 3- Timelines/schedules, scope/risk management should also be relevant in PM candidates experience 4- IT PM candidates should be hands on, i.e. IT PMs and not just PMO PMs. They should be knowledgeable of validation and project management deliverables, the difference and the involvements 5- IT PM candidates should be team oriented and possess the right attitude and personality for team management and flexible for process changes and or adoption of new processes Plan and set direction for multiple concurrent projects of varying size or a large (enterprise/cornerstone) project that supports several businesses and/or functions. Responsible for the quality and delivery of systems and or service commitments on schedule, using assigned internal/external resources and following standards. Manage/lead all phases beginning to end of the project.Assist clients in identifying, understanding and responding to opportunities for cost-effective innovation and adherence to corporate policies. Manage activities of all internal/external resources on projects or service deliverables.May be accountable for one or more business systems, technologies and/or vendors. May be responsible for a small number of direct reports. Accountable for large (cornerstone/enterprise) or several varying size projects, demonstrate solid technical knowledge, demonstrate strong business knowledge, require limited direction, give significant direction, handle highly complex problems, possesses extensive knowledge of project development processes and/or SDLC, have strong communication and interpersonal skill 1)Manage/lead entire project or service including technical solution, implementation, support and quality. Understand and direct/participate in all phases of project implementation on multiple large projects.2)Prioritize work and schedules. 3)Review project team deliverables to ensure quality (design walk-through, test results, etc.) and adherence standards/regulatory requirements. 4)Interact with customers to understand their business and to anticipate IT solutions based on business and technical knowledge. Manage the customer relationship with business project sponsor.5)Responsible for capital and expense project budget. Assist the business in capital and expense planning for IT projects as well. 6)Provide direct supervision and mentoring of project team member’s during the project. Provide project performance feedback to the team member’s supervisor/manager 7)Participate in the research, analysis, selection, and implementation of new tools, technologies and/or services. 8)Participate in setting direction and standards for the portfolio or group.
