Duration : 8+ Months Rate: $50/hr Job Description: FACE TO FACE INTERVIEW MUST FOR THIS POSITION CANDIDATES MUST BE LOCAL Developer Resources will be working with Optum Technology Government Solutions practice, supporting the enhancements, revisions and configuration projects Travel may be required up to 100% on some projects Top responsibilities for this position: • Resources will be a senior-level resource on the team with responsibilities across assessing, designing, developing and testing commercial healthcare software applications. • Resources will work with business analysts and stakeholders for assessment phases as well as to flesh out project requirements and high-level system specifications, such as diagrams, data modeling and object-oriented design Resources will work with QA teams for defect validation and remediation Required software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities: A minimum of 7years related experience in a commercial software development role Strong object oriented programming skills Hands-on development experience including using - NET Hands-on experience with Oracle or SQL Server technology stack Prior experience with performance optimization and troubleshooting of .NET applications; working with complex systems Client facing - demonstrated strong communication skills Assets -- skills/attributes that are Nice to have: Healthcare expertise is highly desirable but not required.
