Duration : 6+ Months Rate: $80/hr *Job Description:Primary Skills:*MicroStrategy *FACE TO FACE INTERVIEW MUST AFTER INITIAL PHONE SCREEN* The position is on a long term contract for a reputable company in the Baltimore Metro area. The successful candidate will maintain and build out new features in a pre-existing application. This candidate will act as the Subject Matter Expert and be an escalation point for any issues. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Develop new Tableau visualizations based on the business need (will require some BA work as well as development work) - Tableau development skillset should include visualization development, use of parameters, and report optimization - Connection to various data sources: SQL, Oracle, xls, Salesforce, etc. - Assist with Tableau server administration and setup of new server environments (DEV/QA and PROD upgrades) - Support existing Tableau infrastructure, including: server security, troubleshooting, and general system maintenance. - Refine and enhance the technical architecture to keep pace with changing business demands and new Tableau software releases. - Security configuration including user / group setup, permissions, security roles, configuration of trusted ticket authentication - Serve as Tableau subject matter expert to assist the BI team in learning Tableau and addressing development roadblocks - Help the BI team plan/implement a Tableau community of practice by providing ideas/insights and best practices - Work with internal BI resources to help mold the data environment for the Tableau power user community - Assist in the creation/publishing of data sources for power users - Prepare metadata and documentation of data sources to make sure power users understand metadata - Work with power users to address issues/question and assist them in Tableau development (especially important at the start to help facilitate self-service) Regards, SanthoshS Sr.Technical Recruiter iBizTek Solutions, LLC 818-649-5117 / 818-649-5118 [email protected] www.ibiztek.com "WMBE Certified" -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "java-core" group.
