Job Title: WebFOCUS developer Location: Baltimore, MD
Duration :7+ months Rate: Open *Primary Skills: *SQL Server,SQL,Oracle Reports,Webfocus,Well versed in SDLC, as well as RUP, Agile, Waterfall methodologies. *Secondary Skills: *Demonstrated experience with Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Rational Unified Process (RUP). ***Must have 11 years of experience*** The client is in need of a WebFOCUS developer, preferably with FOCUS experience, to provide WebFOCUS 7.7.03 design and development on conversions for projects that use the FOCUS tool. The developer will convert FOCUS applications to WebFOCUS 7.7.03. The developer will demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience in designing and developing complex enterprise level applications and other system software using a strong working knowledge of WebFOCUS and Section 508 testing and coding standards. Required Skills: · Superior oral and written communications skills are needed to effectively convey progress, issues, reports, and other customer deliverables with clarity and value. The developer is expected to document the entire conversion effort, including level of effort, challenges, and lessons learned. · Demonstrated design and development skills using WebFOCUS 7.7.03. · Experience with IBI FOCUS. · Knowledge of mainframe-based systems and the knowledge to move projects through the software development life cycle. · Knowledge with structure and connectivity of SQL Server, Oracle, FOCUS, and DB2 databases. · Experience with TSO/ISPF and datasets/VSAM files. · Experience with version control software such as MKS. · Extensive technical experience with requirements analysis efforts for large-scale successful IT system implementations. · Requirements analysis experience with identifying services and defining processing requirements in a SOA environment. · Business Process Modeling experience to visualize, document, model and analyze business processes. · Demonstrated experience with Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Rational Unified Process (RUP). Desired: · Strong background in coding and testing Section 508 standards. · Knowledge of WebFOCUS 8 features. · Experience in identifying and conveying opportunity capture. · Well versed in SDLC, as well as RUP, Agile, Waterfall methodologies. Education Certification/Top 3 Required Skills: · Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science +11 years experience. · Experience working with WebFOCUS 7.7.03 · Knowledge with structure and connectivity of SQL Server, Oracle, FOCUS, and DB2 databases. Experience with version control software such as MKS.
