Duration : 8+ months Rate: $55/hr Required skills: Hadoop Admin Job description: Critical role for the organization with high visibility and ability to make a HUGE impact on our future success.Experience with CDH / HDP / Apache Hadoop distribution components and custom packages.Experience with columnar DB solutions (e.g. Vertica, Cassandra, Greenplum) in cases where a columnar DB is best for data management. Experience building Non-Relational data models on NoSQL DB and designing applications.Strong Experience in building data pipelines and analysis tools using Java, Scala, Python. Experience building large-scale server-side systems with distributed processing algorithms.Good understanding of traditional EDW and data transfer between traditional EDW and hadoop eco-systemExperience in architecting and deploying highly scalable backend solutions.Experience with dependency injection frameworks such as Castle Windsor, Ninject, StructureMap, etc. Knowledge of Design Patterns, Agile software development methodologies, Extreme Programming including Pair Programming.Prior exp. in a consulting firm or working with clients on-site a PLUS but not required.Strong problem solving abilities.
