Duration : 4+ Months Rate: Open **Phone screen followed by face to face interview** **Must be local** **Must be GC & US Citizen** Required skills: Need a Firewall Engineer that can migrate firewall rules and stand-up new firewalls from scratch. Job Description: The Network Security Engineer will be helping the client to mgirate VPNs and applications to new circuits. The Engineer must have experience working with ASA Firewalls, Checkpoint Firewalls, and an overall background in CISCO. This person will be supporting mission critical intiatives for a very well known healthcare provider. The Network Security Engineer will function as a senior member of a highly trained skilled team of network infrastructure engineers responsible for the evaluation, purchase, testing, installation maintenance of the hardware software to support a continuously improving network security engineering practice for a large healthcare provider.The Networking Seucurity Engineer will exhibit ability to resolve problems effectively, efficiently with minimal supervision required to ensure minimal disruptions unplanned downtime of the network infrastructure. Network Security Engineer will have experience with:• Checkpoint firewalls administration and troubleshooting skills.• Understands how layer 3 routing and layer 2 switching works • Position deals with day-to-day project assistance in migration of vendor and remote site VPNs • Knowledge of installing, maintaining and configuring of ASA firewalls standalone or HA pair • Have strong knowledge of IPSEC Site to Site VPN tunnel configuration, migration from Cisco to Cisco or other platforms; full understanding of NAT • Understanding of maintaining of firewall policies to ensure proper security levels are implemented for ingress and egress traffic • Team player in a multi-disciplined project team environment. • Good writing skills and communication skills.• Work with limited supervision, and completes tasks and projects routinely within deadline dates.
