Company: State of Mass – Division of Banks Worksite Address: 1000 Washington Street, Boston, MA 02118 Start: ASAP Initial Duration: 4-6 Months *Position Summary: * The IT Application Group within Division of Banks for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to elicit, research, and analyze user requirements. Provide recommendations and options to the business on application design and business process improvement based on analysis. The Senior Business Analyst, will prepare use cases, data analysis, prepare and execute test plans, support users conducting testing and training activities. *Our ideal candidate must have strong enterprise business application development and systems integration experience with Salesforce platform.* *Responsibilities:* Senior Business Analyst typical responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to the following: 1. Act as a liaison between internal/external business partners and software developers to define, document and review business and system requirements. 2. Facilitate critical interviews and workshops with project stakeholders. 3. Translate business needs and desired user experiences into comprehensive and executable user stories to ensure understanding by all project members. 4. Document data requirements and conduct data analysis for integration and conversion efforts. 5. Collaborate with other IT consultants/vendors to ensure continuity between requirements, design, and testing on or between project teams. 6. Create and execute test and implementation plans and coordinate testing of system enhancements and projects with the user area. 7. Create and provide technical training for deployed applications; assist with user training when needed. 8. Brings expertise of Business Analysis discipline to the team helping project management, business participants, developers and other technologists adopt best practices for the software development lifecycle. 9. Manage customer expectations; may lead development team and act as project manager. *Qualifications: * 1. Requires BS/BA degree or equivalent experience. 2. Requires seven or more years of progressive experience as a Business Analyst or Consultant. 3. Proven hands on experience with *Salesforce.com* (Community Portal, Service Cloud) implementations *Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * 1. Experience with *business process analysis* and redesign, and/or business systems analysis. 2. *Proficiency with Salesforce.com development including creation of standard and custom objects and fields etc.* 3. *Experience with technologies that work with Salesforce.com including: Java, jscript, Force.com platform * 4. Experience with data structures, data modeling, db schema is required. 5. Experience in moving code from lower sandboxes to production environment and address issues related to functionality, integration, etc. 6. Experience in Agile development methodology/Scrum is preferred 7. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to work effectively with multiple departments and stakeholders. 8. Strong organizational skills and requirements planning and management skills. 9. Salesforce Certified Administrator Certification a plus 10.
