The client is SEI in Oaks, PA right outside of Philadelphia. They are looking for a DevOps Engineer specifically with (MW and DevOps) areas. MW automation and/or DevOps implementation would be ideal. The tool that will be used is Ansible (DevOps) tool implementation on the SWP side. Candidate with a Middleware and Systems Administration background to implement Ansible would be perfect. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Minimum Requirements: A minimum of 8 – 10 years of experience in working in production and pre-production support required. Candidate must demonstrate ability to work collaboratively be able to provide direction and assistance with diagnostics and troubleshooting using critical problem solving techniques. Candidate must have hands on experience working in a mixed infrastructure environment of Linux/Solaris/Windows. Candidate must have DevOps experience with automation tools, release orchestration engines, experience with programming. The candidate should demonstrate outstanding oral and written communication skills. Must have strong team focus and client service work ethic. Physical Demands and Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the work environment may require an individual to move around the office and from building to building which may expose the individual to weather conditions outside. The individual has to be able to sit or be stationary at a computer and use computers for extended periods of time and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. The noise level in the environment is moderate and the individual must be able to communicate and exchange information with people in person and over the telephone and email. Applicant must meet ALL of these requirements. Description: • Must have DevOps tools/technologies experience; implementation of tools such as Puppet, Ansible. Automation skills with scripting WLST, python, shell etc. is required. Application Deployment tools is a plus such as Jenkins, AnthillPro, Ant, Maven etc. • Must have experience with implementation and support of Release Orchestration Engines such as CA release automation, Ansible Tower, ServiceNow orchestration etc. • Provide support for all stages of Weblogic implementation and/or Java container related issues and triage application issues as related to the J2EE container. • Identify any bottlenecks in the messaging infrastructure (MQ, JMS, OSB) and provide quick fixes to ensure that the SLA’s are meet and future prevention with a thorough root cause analysis. • Skilled in implementing high availability, fault tolerant strategies, and load balancing. • Experienced technical knowledge in specialty area with basic knowledge of complementary infrastructures. • Strong fundamental knowledge of Linux, Solaris and Windows operating systems. • Experience with messaging systems like IBM MQ, Oracle Service Bus and Weblogic based messaging technologies. • Experience working with J2EE containers like Oracle Weblogic Server, IBM Websphere. • Experience configuring internet facing URL’s and securing it with centralized authentication systems like CA SiteMinder. • A fast learner with ability to dive into new products and technologies, develop subject matter expertise and drive projects to completion. • A team player with good written and verbal communication skills that can mentor other members in the production support group. • Manage middleware environments and provide support to application and business teams. • Troubleshoot Oracle Weblogic Server performance issues independently and/or in conjunction with other Middleware Engineers and Oracle database administrators. • Configure and troubleshoot internet facing web portals and analyze apache web servers, CA SiteMinder web agent logs to identify any web related issues. • Provide detailed root cause analysis and suggest workarounds and/or solutions for recurring issues. • Work independently and collaboratively with other support organizations to troubleshoot system and application issues.
