  Job Description: Position Description:

 The IT Sourcing Transition Manager will facilitate the activities required
to transfer system support to strategic vendor partners. He/she will report
to the IT Sourcing Transition Lead and work closely with client managers
and designated vendor resources to ensure smooth and seamless knowledge
transition procedures while maintaining business-as-usual processes.

 Responsibilities:

 The responsibilities of the IT Sourcing Transition Manager will include
but are not limited to:

•             Work within the established IT Sourcing governance framework
for the Knowledge Transition (KT) process

•             Utilize defined templates for the KT activities to maintain
consistent and repeatable practices across IT Sourcing transitions

•             Facilitate planning sessions to define tasks and timelines
for the KT process

•             Document the Transition Plan and KT calendar

•             Conduct a kickoff meeting for the KT with the Subject Matter
Experts and transition participants

•             Provide oversight of the KT tasks for timely and accurate
completion

•             Ensure KT activities remain in compliance with the governance
framework

•             Monitor tollgates/checkpoints for the defined KT phases

•             Serve as the escalation point for any KT issues

•             Keep management and project team informed of status for
transition activity

Requirements:



The job requirements for the IT Sourcing Transition Manager will include
but are not limited to:

•             Minimum of 5 years of project management experience

•             Bachelor’s degree or related work experience in the field of
Information Technology

•             Demonstrated experience with SDLC methodology

•             Prior or current experience working on IT Sourcing transitions

•             Experience with outsourcing and working with an offshore model

•             Experience with working with a distributed workforce

•             Demonstrated skills in relationship building, negotiation,
and conflict resolution

•             Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•             Able to successfully network at all levels across an
organization

•             Work well independently or in a team environment

•             Set priorities and multi-task effectively to meet planned
deadlines

•             Well-organized and detail-oriented

•             Experience in the Life Insurance or Financial Services
industry is a plus
