If you are interested, please send me your updated resume along with the needed information listed below. *UI/Front End Developer* *Location: Austin, TX* *Duration: 6 Months+* *GC and Citizens* *Job Responsibilities:* This role is responsible for coding and modifying interactive elements contained within assessment items, from layout to function and according to a client's specifications. Must create visually appealing interactive elements that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation, while properly capturing data input by user. *Job Duties:* · Develop new user-facing features · Build reusable code and libraries for future use · Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs · Optimize code for maximum speed and scalability in the prescribed environment · Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to the back-end processing systems for evaluation · Create quality mockups and prototypes on tight timelines · The position requires constant communication and collaboration with other team members and stakeholders · Provide guidance and training for other staff on implementation of javascript code and libraries *Skills and Qualifications:* · Candidate must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards · Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units · Deep expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and version control software (Git / Stash) · Experience with JQuery, JQuery plugins, JQueryUI, and JQueryUI widgets · Understands the performance implications of frameworks such as JQuery on the application environment.
