Not sure how to change the format of the response from the Axis2 side, but you
may be able to change the webMethods Document Type definitions that are being
used to validate the response allowing it to accept the fields that have the
xsi:nil attribute. Try editing the Document Type used to validate the response
and change the "allow null" property to be "true". Depending on the webMethods
ESB release and patch level in use, this might take care of the validation
errors from that side.
