I like this idea and will give it a shot when I have some cycles. I definitely think something at the top level is needed on scoring, even if it is just pointers to appropriate pieces inside.

I was even torn about the reproducing of the scoring formula in the scoring file. Does anyone know of a way in Anakia to do an include or to scrape the formula automatically out of the Similarity javadoc?

Also, does anyone else have any thoughts on the content? Where is it right, where is it wrong?

Thanks,
Grant

perhaps the existing scoring.html document should be split up? .. leave the Introduction, and most of the "Scoring" sections in the "site" (much like query parser syntax and file formats are) and move some of the more
developer specific / class specific information from the "Query
Classes", "Changing SImilarity" and "Changing your Scoring" sections into
the javadocs?
