Quickly looking over the code:
Javadocs for DocIdSetIterator still sometimes contain -1 instead of NO_MORE_DOCS

+ Scorer.score(Collector, int) was deprecated in favor of
+ Scorer.score(Collector, int, int) which take an extra 'firstDocID'
+ parameter. This is meant to ensure nextDoc() is called before this method.

Collector is a new class in 2.9, so no need to deprecate (in the code it seems
correct).
Will look into it more detailed tomorrow.
