Indeed! It's doing nothing now. Just creating Sort objects but not in fact doing any searching with them. Hmm.
Unfortunately, the test very much relied on the deprecated "setUseLegacySearch" API, to compare old vs new sorting. I suppose its time has past, given that it has had a good amount of time, now, to assert that old and new were producing identical results. Should we just remove it?
