Thanks! I'm very excited to join such a great and talented team. Following the tradition, here's my short bio:
I'm 31 years old, married with 3 kids (although these 1+2 > 3 !). I hold a M.Sc. in computer science from the University of Haifa. I've joined IBM Haifa Research Lab, Information Retrieval group, in 2004 and immediately fell in love with this domain. I've had the opportunity to develop a Java search library (before I met and fell in love with Lucene - I swear dear, it's just you now!) and a couple of search solutions on top of it (and Lucene). I've been using, extending and improving Lucene for the last ~3 years, and intend to return the favor by contributing as much as I can back. I'll start with Parallel Index (thanks Michael B. for introducing it!) and continue to more exciting things. See you soon on JIRA (and #lucene).
