The candidate should be able to step into environment and kick off project, and efficiently gather requirements and document in a functional spec/use cases. Candidate should be adequately experienced in project management to be able to generate and maintain project plan, and oversee risk and change management process. COMMUNICATION *SKILLS are VERY important.* They will need to be the driver and must be efficient. They should be very SHARP and CONCISE. They need to have EXCELLENT leadership skills. We also want candidates that have been in organizations that have maintained a very formal process. *Description* Client's On-line platforms are running on antiquated systems that were designed and architected 8 years ago. The systems lack security, are hitting limits in throughput, are difficult to work with, based on older technologies, and lack the ability to support multi-lingual sites. To meet the strategies of allowing clients (have 2500 different clients) to use their website as a point of disclosure, dramatically grow the hosting business outside the U.S., and to improve Client Service Efficiencies, the tools and architecture need to be completely redone. This project would rebuild the web hosting architecture from the database to the tools that are used to support the system. It will be based on modern data models, current security standards, and workflows of the service teams that utilize these tools. The project will include a forced migration of all clients on the old tools (need to verify if we are building something new or converting what we have). The end result will be a new system based on our client service workflows and appropriate data models that is scalable, flexible and provides web services to our content and systems. The Senior Business Analyst will conduct detailed research in order to translate business requirements into precise, high quality functional specifications. This individual will manage usability and user acceptance testing throughout the product development process to ensure a successful outcome at the completion of the project. The Senior Business Analyst will convene a cross-functional project team and drive the project across product design, development and testing. Primary responsibilities: - Ensure all aspects of an application's requirements meet the needs of the end user. Identify, classify, and design the functionality and flow of information that comprise an effective user interface through use cases. Assess the impact of planned development on existing systems, identifying risks and roadblocks. - Create mockups, prototypes and wireframes that conform to best practice information architecture and user interface design. Manage those requirements throughout the entire product development process. - Maintain high-level project schedule, facilitate and manage scope, procure necessary resources, manage change, identify users and stakeholders, and communicate project information to release management. - Monitor and maintain the project after initial release, prioritize defects, measure and support client service impact.
